OUR CONCERTS
Our twice-monthly concerts are held on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of most months in an intimate, 1929 log hall with great acoustics, just outside Colorado Springs. We're a "listening room." Our audiences come to focus on the music, not to gab and ruckus. Our shows consist of two 5-song, unpaid openers and a one-hour feature set. We're a non-profit, and we're here to promote the music and not the bucks, so admission is only $8 for members and $15 for the public.
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to promote handmade music played on traditional instruments. Although that covers many, many styles, we can’t book pop, rock, or acts with drum kits. Typical styles that we support are folk, bluegrass, Americana, Celtic, string-band, old-time, blues, and swing. We try to stay on the traditional side of the acoustic-music world, and we are a strictly non-religious and non-political organization.
